The billion-dollar whale assumed to be related to Bakkt’s launch earlier, might be linked to the Plus Token Ponzi scheme as the majority of the transactions originated from Huobi exchange, @thetokenanalyst on Twitter reported. Huobi was linked to a significant amount of payouts from PlusToken’s network in research conducted by Elementus.
100,000,000 XRP was transferred from Ripple’s account to Jed McCaleb, Ripple’s former CTO’s, wallet. This transaction has elevated the communities fear of another massive liquidation depreciating XRP’s price further.
