GCO declares the upcoming launch of USD Digital

Global Currency Organisation is set to launch a new USD backed stablecoin called USDD- USD Digital. As per the announcement, the backing USD would sustain as a third-party trust company. With the latest development, GCO aims to render blockchain benefits to all traders and vanish the gap between the traditional and decentralized finance. 

CME Group has no plans of physically-settled BTC futures

CME Group, the derivatives exchange giant, has denied the plans of physically-settled bitcoin futures contracts but the group is geared up to bring bitcoin options contract in Q1 of 2020. Tim McCourt, the global head of equity index and alternative investment products at CME told Markets Media that option on the futures had been the primary demand of the customers since the launch of bitcoin futures in 2017.

BTFS launches its mainnet

BitTorrent File System (BTFS), the decentralized file-sharing protocol of BitTorrent has launched its mainnet. The project looks forward to becoming the most significant and first scalable decentralized storage system. BTFS has released new features and inaugurated 3,000 new nodes. The protocol plans on benefitting over 100 million users with the services.
