An American Entrepreneur and vocal crypto advocate, John McAfee recently launched his decentralized exchange(DEX), which is running on the Ethereum(ETH) blockchain. McAfee DEX is set to go live as a beta release on 7th October according to the platform’s website and McAfee’s twitter account.
The McAfee Distributed Dex beta version is coming 10/7. Play with it. It takes time for enough users to join to make it real, but if you play, and be patient, you will see it's the door that frees us from Government's cornerstone of control: Fiat currencies. In one of his Tweets from 5th October, McAfee unveiled the new platform and said that since its a new platform, things would take time to get started. He said that if people are patient and play along with the platform, it can act as a backdoor that helps them get away from the government’s control.
He further pointed out that centralized exchanges are the weakness of the crypto community, and its adoption should be minimized. He suggested that decentralized exchanges will bring the revolution as they are everywhere, and governments can’t shut them down. His DEX platform is also based on open-source networking.
Currently, the platform provides support for ETH-based token(ERC-20 standard), and they can be added without any fee to the beta version. Support for more unspecified tokens will be provided in the future.
